This week, we welcomed the Veni group, who will be working on their own ideas. Unfortunately, Covid-19 measures dictated that we could not all be physically present in the same location as there was just too many of us. I bet it would have been great to meet all of these people in person. I dropped into the Zoom meeting where they pitched their ideas to find their teammates, to listen to and learn from them and their perspectives as to why these problems need to be solved, and why their startups would be relevant. Observing them, I realized that most of these companies were trying to solve problems either based on trends, or via personal problems that they experienced themselves. I concurred with most of the startups, but not all of them. Reasons why shall not be disclosed in this public blog. One thing for sure is that all of these would be founders bring with them a lot of optimism, and that optimism was contagious as we were all attending the Zoom meeting with uplifted spirits, even during this pandemic.
Regarding our project, this week we presented our Powerpoint slides to our EIR who is working with Interpol. We were all contented with the quality of the Powerpoint slides, which in itself was a huge step for us. Hopefully we can finally be done with desktop research and we work on the product ASAP. So as to be able to come up with an MVP and progress forwards with customer validation.
